William Winters

William Winters, age 84 of New Castle, Delaware passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital, Wilmington.


William was born in Newtown, PA on February 6, 1932 to the late James Winters, Sr. and Virginia Morris Winters.
William is a graduate of Council Rock High School and served as Private First Class in the United States Army. He retired from the United States Steel Corporation, where he served as an employee for over 25 years.


William was married to Lottie Winters and is survived by their three children Krisie A. Winters, Karen A. Winters and William T. Winters. He is the grandfather of Shaakira T. Armstrong, Quiana T. Dawson, Monique Ampah and Dillon St. Louis and the great grandfather of Jayden & Aliyah Stewart, Quamere, Theodore III & Kori Christie. William was the brother of the late Bessie L. White, Anna Mae Jackson and James Winters, Jr.
