William Revyl Jones

WILLIAM REVYL JONES, JR. (Bill) WILLIAM REVYL JONES, JR., son of the late Betty E. Turpin Jones and William R. Jones, Sr., departed this life Friday, September 2, 2005, at Riverside Extended Care in Wilmington, DE. William was born October 25, 1907, in Swarthmore, PA. He was educated in the public schools of Swarthmore. Bill was united in marriage to the late Cordelia Johns of Wilmington, DE. In 1986, he was united in marriage to Irene S. Grandison of New Castle, DE. Bill was very active in his church, the Brotherhood Breakfast Assoc. of Churches, the Wilson L. Underwood Lodge #100, and the Elks. He is survived by his wife, Irene; two granddaughters, Nafia Shafi and Valerie White; two great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; one brother, Charles L.; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
