William A. Bryan, affectionately known as Billy, was born on December 7, 1967, in Wilmington, Delaware to Eartha (Barbara) Bryan and the late William A. Bryan. He passed away at home in Hockessin, Delaware, on February 7, 2025.
Billy received his early childhood education at Douglas Elementary School and later graduated from Post 21. Billy participated in the Special Olympics for many years and was proud to win first place. Billy found great joy in walking, running, and playing with his collection of balls.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, William A. Bryan; his brother, Jah Tenny Leda; his grandparents, Annie Bell and Sammie Black; and Hilda Logan.
Billy is survived by his loving mother, Eartha (Barbara) Bryan; his sisters, Marica Bryan (GA), Carol Bryan (Canada), and Diane Bryan (FL); nieces Scharrah, Aleda, and Akaycia; nephews Branden, Bevonn, Romaine, and Jahmae; sister-in-law Colleen Cole Leda; Aunts Mary Livingston (DE), Ann Margaret (Sherman) (DE), Yvette Black (DE), and Geraldine Webster (DE); as well as a host of extended family, dear roommates, and devoted caregivers.
Billy’s warmth, joy, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
