William Arthur "Skeets" Jones

William A. Jones 'Skeets" son of the late William M and Ruth Jones was born on November 4, 1934. He went home to be with he Lord on December 23, 2004 while at the Hillside Nursing Home. Skeets as he was affectionately called by cherished family and friends was educated in the Wilmington Public Schools System and graduated from George Washington Carvel High School. After high school he enlisted in the United States Airforce and served his county well during the Korean War. He enjoyed eating, traveling, and family gatherings. Skeets was so good with his hands he became a skilled carpenter and a professional window cleaner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mrs & Mrs. William and Ruth Jones; three brothers Milton and Melvin Lewis amd Iray Hall. He leaves to chersih his memories two sons; Anthony L. Jones and William A. Lloyd; 2 devoted sisters, Ethel Newton and Ruth A. Hunt and her husband John; devoted niece and caregiver, Sharon Smith-Walton and her husband Larry; six grandchildren, Qua'terra, Shkea, Tybre Jones, Stanley Dryden and Quinton and Xavier White; two great grandsons, Rayquan and Raymire Briscoe and a hosst of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
