January 30, 1958 — February 9, 2018

Virgina Seward Pridgen, age 60, was lovingly called home at Wilmington Hospital on February 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 30, 1958 in Wilmington to the late Percy and Dorothy Seward. She was one of six siblings. Virgina was lovingly called Pete by her immediate family and close friends, as Virgina got older she preferred to be called Gina. Virgina received her early education in the public schools of Wilmington at Shortlidge Elementary, Warner Jr. High and P.S Dupont High School. She also attended Dawn School where she became a certified Medical Assistant. She had several jobs throughout her life spanning from as far back as Wilmington Dry Goods up to presently owning and operating one of the first Bail Bonds businesses in the state of Delaware. Her passion however, was traveling. She has been on countless cruises and seen several countries. Another pleasure of hers was dancing, she even sprained her ankle once doing the electric slide at her son's school fundraiser. She also spent any of her free time loving up on her family. She married Bobby James Green who also preceded her in death and from that union was blessed with a daughter Latrisha who brought the joy of her life with her only granddaughter Cyerra. Later she met and married Ted Pridgen and out of that union they were blessed with their son Bryant. Virgina leaves to cherish her, husband Ted and two children, her daughter Latrisha Seward and her son Bryant Green. She also leaves her granddaughter Cyerra White. Virginia also leaves two sisters Velma Louis and Brenda Smith; two brothers Percey L. Seward (Robin) and Corey Bronson; two stepsons Bobby James Green Jr. and Quincy Dupree; six nieces Gwen, Rae, Adrienne, Shaelann, Ericka and Charlee, and nephews Percy III and Gary and a host of great nieces and nephews, and she leaves behind her lifetime sister friend Ann Briggs.
