Udana's Journey Udana Myochie Campbell was born on August 30, 1975 in Wilmington, Delaware to Gail P. and Jerome R. Campbell. She passed on Wednesday, October 4th at Christiana Hospital. Udana, affectionately known as "Mum-Mum" by her loving family, received her early education in the Brandywine School District. Udana graduated from Concord High School in 1994. After graduation, she was employed by PNC Bank and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Delaware. Udana's longest tenure of employment was at Christiana Care Health Systems, in the department of Radiation and Oncology, where she was employed for over a decade. Udana was a faithful member of St. Paul's UAME Church. She enjoyed being an active member, participating in many organizations such as Security, Ushers, the Daughters of Conference, and offering a helping hand wherever she could. Udana was also a member of the Turtles organization. Udana Campbell had a smile and laugh which will be forever remembered. Her endearing spirit and positive attitude (with an abundance of sass) brightened the lives of many. Mum-Mum enjoyed shopping; filling her closets with shoes, purses, and jewelry. She remained upbeat and in control-throughout her long battle- often giving demands from her bedside.
Udana was preceded in death by her Great-Grandmother Edna Bolden, Grandmother Gladys Bolden, and her Grandfather Irvin Gordy. Udana is survived by companion Lee A. Bass, son RaShawn S.Wright, daughter Kynzlee R. Campbell, parents Gail P. and Jerome R. Campbell, siblings-a twin brother Quincy S. Campbell (Monique), Marcollis D. Bolden (Kimberly), Darshell L. Patton, Jerome K. Patton (Alethea), Chrisstie D. Dennis, Louis S. Jackson, Jerome L. Giles, Jasmine N. Giles, special brothers Kelvin Clark, Ian Patton, and Jay Clark; an adoring cousin Evangelist Sandy Gibbs, loving Godmother Gwendolyn Owens, Godsister Letitia Smith, Godchild Desiree Jackson, a special sister friend Jonelle Monk; and a host of aunts, uncles, loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
