Brother Tyke Lee Evans better known as "OG, Mr. Lee, and Kee by his wife" amongst his closest friends and family, was born on January 26, 1981 in Lewes, DE to Alonzo Hagans and Ruby Evans.
Tyke received his GED on February 18, 2011, which was a great accomplishment for him. Tyke was employed part-time by Blade Riders in Ocean View, DE. Prior to that, he worked for R & L Irrigation in Seaford, DE where he learned and perfected his skills under the owner's guidance. Shortly after, he was able to branch off and utilize his God given talents. Tyke was a self-made entrepreneur that worked tirelessly to create a family owned business (Evans Majestic Lawn Care LLC) that would allow his legacy to continue in the lives of those he cherished the most. He adored his wife, mother, and children and often expressed that he just wanted to be a "great provider" and a "Man of Integrity and he truly accomplished those goals.
Tyke loved with "all his heart" he never wanted anyone to feel sad, hurt, nor pain, so he made sure to put a smile on everyone's face. He was a well-known jokester to say the least. Man Pleasz…was his signature statement of endearment that made everyone burst out in laughter. His mere presence was like no other and no one never had to doubt his sincere heart.
Tyke never met a stranger, and he had a genuine love for people; especially, young males. He would often share stories, testimonies, and an abundance of wisdom to those that would listen. He had so many dreams and aspirations that are on pulse as of now; however, he shared them with those closest to him for a reason and that is to keep his legacy ALIVE.
Tyke was a member of the Word of Life Community Church where he learned to fight in the spirit, break generational curses, and free himself to become the man he always desired to be. He would often cry out to God and ask to be a better father, husband, son, brother, and friend. God answered his prayers. Tyke would two-step up and down the aisles on Sunday morning worshipping God and roar like the mighty lion he was/is/and will always be! He was truly blessed and will be sorely missed by all.
Tyke was preceded in death by his daughter, Corrinda Perkins. His maternal grandmother Ruth DeShields and Grandfather John Jones. His paternal grandmother Mary Holloman and Grandfather Joe Harvey. Also, his granddaughter Ra'Zhiya Spencer.
