Trustee William H. Jones

passed away on September 2, 2012 with his wife of 54 years, Violet M. Jones by his side. He was born in Wilmington, DE. William was one of the first black students admitted to Salesianum in 1950 (Pre-Brown vs. Board of Education) and graduated in 1954. He worked at Chrysler Corp for 33 years and enjoyed scenic driving, officiating basketball and baseball games, and grocery shopping. William Attended New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where he was a faithful Trustee, until his health impeded his ability to serve. William leaves behind to cherish his memories, whis wife;, Violet M. Jones, children, Marsahal Q., Wayne L. (Sheena), Tina D. Brooks (Bart), Marcia R. "Tee" Perry, Barbara I. Ashley (CA), and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His parents, Quinton and Marcella Jones, and siblings, Yvonne Jones, Sandra Thomas and Maria Jones preceded him in death. In Lieu of flowers donations to New Mt. Olive Baptist Church Building fund.
