Tommie Graham was born on June 28, 1957 at Syracuse Memorial Hospital to Thomas J. Graham and Leatha Snow-Graham. He passed on September 30, 2020.
Tommie graduated from Nottingham High School in 1975, where he played football in the public school of Syracuse and attended Canton Ohio University. He relocated to Wilmington, DE in the late 1970's. He worked for many years in the city of Wilmington as a sanitation worker until he became ill.
Tommie enjoyed watching football and basketball games on TV, as well old-fashioned, classic shows like Bonanza and McHale's Navy. Tommie attended Kingdom Building Outreach Ministry and then joined the Church of Faith in Deliverance. Tommie was known to walk through his mother's house with his hand raised to the Heavens.
Tommie was preceded in death by his grandparents Tom and Mary Snow, Walter and Leona Graham; brother Kenny Alford; five uncles Sam, Walter Graham Bentley, James, Arthur Snow; four aunts Rachel Davis, Mela May Davis and Christina White.
Tommie leaves his cherished memories to his five sons Thomas D. Payne, Tommie C., Rashaun, Damien and Cordell LeCompte; his parents Thomas Graham(Lili May) and Leatha Graham Rose(Kenneth); grandsons Kasai Pinder and Thomas D. Payne, Jr.; brothers Jimmy Alford, Clifford and Terrence Graham; his very devoted aunt Cleyo Bateman and cousin/sister Sheila Boney(Reginald) and a host of other family and friends.
