Timothy Ellis

Timothy Darnell Ellis was born on December 20, 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware at General Hospital to Elwood Pritchett (deceased) and Gloria Ellis-Pritchett. He passed on January 24, 2021 at Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital. Timothy Darnell Ellis, better known as "Big Daddy Kane" attended Christiana High School. After school he worked several jobs and then decided to work construction with his father, Elwood Pritchett at Diamond Materials. He enjoyed reading, dancing, weightlifting, and playing video games with his stepchildren. He especially loved and cherished his daughter, as she was the love of his life. Timothy Darnell Ellis was preceded in death by Elwood Pritchett (father), Dion Brooks (brother), Elizabeth & Raymond Pritchett (paternal grandparents), Rosella & John Ellis (maternal grandparents). Timothy Darnell Ellis is survived by Royal Ellis (daughter), 2 Stepdaughters (Sha Ameera & Ramada), 2 Stepsons (Jayson & Mesai), Renada Maddox (fianc), Gloria Ellis-Pritchett (mother), (Yolonda & Clifton Irwin (sister & brother-in-law), Donielle Ellis (brother), Beverly Ann Brooks (sister), Anthony Carpenter (brother), Ray Carpenter (brother), Zhanira Jacobs (niece), Darius Jacobs, Jr (nephew), Anthony Woodruff (nephew), and Kimora Ellis (niece) and a host of family and friends.
