Terrissa Rene Commodore

Terrissa Rene Commodore was born February 10th, 1982, in Connecticut to Barthenia Rochester and Terrence Commodore. She was called home November 30th, 2024 in Christiana Hospital surrounded by loved ones. 

Tess received her early childhood education from Rock Hall Elementary. She attended William Penn High School. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly so she spent the majority of her career as a caregiver for many years. 

Tess was a devoted member of Jesus Christ Covenant Ministries where she was baptized and served as an armor bearer to First Lady Brandy Douglas. During her free time she took interest in arts & craft, writing and cooking. She enjoyed spending time and creating memories with her family & friends. In life Tess had a nurturing spirit and gave tirelessly to helping others, even when she didn't have much to give she gave her all. She always tried to be the light in others storms and always knew how to make others laugh even when they didn't want to & she cherished every moment. 

Terrissa was preceded in death by her Son Terron Benson, parents Barthenia Rochester and Terrence Commodore, and her nephew-son Synai Smith.

Tess is survived by her 2 Daughters Amaiya Clark and Ni’Eymah Commodore. Step-mother Darlene Ransom Grant, Brother & sister Terrence J. Commodore and Latiesha Rochester. Her only grand-daughter Xolani Braxton. God-children Nahfisah Morris and Melody Douglas. WIth a special mention to her Auntie-Mom, other daughters, sister-cousin’s, a special love to Kevin Jackson, host of relatives and friends.
