Tanya A. Haman

Born in Wilmington, DE on February 7, 1971 to Joan
Mitchell-Williams and the late Delbert L. Haman Sr.,
died on December 2, 2015 at Seasons Hospice, Newark,
DE surrounded by loved ones.

Tanya graduated from DelCastle High School in
1989. She received an Associates degree in Human Services from Delaware Technical Community College and
obtained her B.A. in Social Work in 1995 from Delaware
State University. Tanya was employed at HBCS for 15
years.

Tanya leaves to cherish her memory, her son
De'Andre, her devoted and loving mom Joan Mitchell-
Williams of Townsend,DE, her sisters, Tereska E.
James (J.P.) Wanda Pennington(Gerry), Debra Butcher;
nephew, Grayson James; Brothers, Brian Butcher,
Jordan Haman, and D. L. Haman, Jr., her aunts: Sara
Jane Shockley; Elizabeth B. Mitchell; Beulah "Bebe"
O'Donnell (Dick); Barbara Mitchell-Williams (Henry);
Tempie Harding (George), Henrietta Ennis, Virginia
Saunders, Phyllis Watson (Nathaniel), Doris Sudler,
Marlene Haman, Darlene Young (Darin), Sarah Johnson
(Glenn) and Vanessa Haman. uncles: George Mitchell (Louvenia); Walter Mitchell (Betty); Oscar
Mitchell (Doris) Eugene S. Mitchell (Adrienne); Donald
Haman (Sharon), Andrew Haman (Teresa), Steve Haman
(Gloria). A host of other family members and devoted friends.
