Steven R. Dixon

Steven R. Dixon was born on February 25, 1946, in Wilmington, Delaware. Steven graduated from William P. Bancroft Junior High School, where he received several awards for basketball and track. After high school, he was employed with several companies, East Mail Transportation, Leasway Transportation, and Eagle Limousine, and MotorCoach. Upon retirement, he worked at The Devon where he became a very important part of the day-to-day interaction with the tenants, which he considered friends. He was a member of Mother AUFCMP Church. He loved working on cars, fishing, spending time with his family, and helping others. Steven was preceded in death by his mother Dora A. Dixon and brothers Wayne, Jimmy, John, and Robert Dixon. He is survived by his children two daughters and two sons, Alicia Laster, Gia Dixon-Barrett, Keith Leatherbury, and Michael Coleman all residing in Delaware. Four sisters, Delores Harris, Jeanette Mann, Joanne Dixon, and Elaine Dixon residing in Delaware. Two brothers David (Janice) Dixon and Kenneth (Karen) Dixon, residing in Delaware. His grandchildren, Shamar (Lakeysha)Laster, Ernestine Barrett, Toni Dixon, Kyree Dixon, Ky'Airr Dixon-Selby, Janay N. Williams, Twins Jahmiel and Jaymail Hollis, Lacy Coleman-Hill, Johnavin Michael Coleman, and Caedyn Garbriel Coleman. A host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Previous Events
