Solomon Frazier, born on September 12, 1959, in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024, at his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Solomon's career journey was marked by dedication and service. He worked for esteemed companies such as DuPont and Wilmington Hospital before finding his calling as a custodial driver for SEPTA Railroad in Philadelphia, where he ultimately retired from.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Solomon was a passionate advocate for prison reform and the National Pardon Association. Known for his commitment to
raising awareness about the realities of prison life, Solomon used social media as a platform to share his experiences and insights. His video series, featuring
the catchphrase "Do you want it?" under his online persona "Solo5300," inspired countless individuals to reflect on their choices and strive for positive change.
Solomon will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Frazier Sr., mother, Mary
Frazier, and brother, Marion Frazier Jr. He is survived by his loving son, Solomon Mayo, grandchildren Khalif, Kahlil, Khasi, and Simone Mayo, stepdaughters
Malika Mayo and Cyette Mayo, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Solomon's ex-wife, Debra Frazier, also mourns his passing and remembers the shared moments and experiences they had together.
Among his close friends, Solomon leaves behind cherished memories with Pete Maddrey, Ern McKinley, and Mitchell Coleman. Their camaraderie enriched his
life, and their bond will be forever cherished.
A graduate of Howard Technical High School in Wilmington, Delaware, Solomon's impact extended far beyond his professional and personal circles. His
legacy of advocacy, compassion, and determination will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
