Shirley A. Ellerbe

Shirley Ann Ellerbe daughter of the late Dorothy Williams was born on September 19, 1948 in Petersburg, VA. Shirley received her wings on October 27, 2021.

Shirley obtained her education at Delaware public schools. Shirley worked at MBNA in which she retired. Shirley loved her family and took pride in helping others. She opened her home to many, she gave a place to stay, food to eat and words of encouragement. Shirley in return never expected anything. She had the gift of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Shirley also loved having family gatherings at her house.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Williams, her son Kevin Brown, her brother Lamotte Williams, her 2 bestfriends Cynthia Woody and Sandra Gardner, her cousin Sheila Jackson whom was also one of her bestfriends, and 3 brother in laws James Ellerbe, Carl Riley and Thomas Wallace.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories her husband McKensity Ellerbe, her daughter Tameka, her sons Roscoe, Mark, Shawn and Byron. One son in law Eddie Gosa, 2 daughter in laws Pat Brown and Eunice Pulliam.Her god children Josiah, Timothy and Crystal. Her grandkids Tykeisha, Shawnikqua, William (NaNa), Kevin, Olin, Quanisha(Ahzia), Shawnta, Markevis, Avorey, Isharae, Tashiona, Tanisha, Patrick, Kevin, Richard and Roscoe. 26 Great Grandchildren One Sister Regina Evans (Roosevelt), two brothers Jerry Williams (Shirlene), and Johnny Williams. Four sister in laws Hennrietta, Pearlie, Helen and Diane. One devoted niece Valdemina Hedgepeth. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. Previous Events
