July 19, 1962 — February 23, 2019

Sherry Lynn Ponzo was born on July 19th 1962 in Salisbury, MD. She passed on February 23rd 2019 Sherry was employed by Brandywine School District for many years as a Food Service Worker, she then went on to Advanced Student where she drove the school bus for many years. Most recently she was employed by THG where she drove shuttle buses for Bank of America up until her health started to decline. She was also a caregiver to her grandchildren. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandkids, talking on the phone, shopping and cooking. Sherry was a beautiful person inside and out, everyone loved her kind heart and giving spirit she would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. Her unselfish personality allowed her to sacrifice alot for herself so that she could give to the ones she loved. If anyone needed food to eat, a place to stay or to simply just to talk, she was always there no matter what. Even throughout her times in the hospital she still managed to help and care for others and she kept a smile on her face and never complained. Sherry touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Charles (Sr) and JoAnn Dale. Sherry leaves to cherish her memory husband Kenneth Ponzo, kids Kisha Goodson, Nikita Dale, Nameta Dale, Keyona Dale ( Aaron) Nakevis Walker (Marilyn) Shameta Dale and Kenneth Taylor. 16 grandchildren. Siblings Charlette Samuel, Charles Dale Jr, Robyn Dale. Grandparents Elroy & Winnie Mason, mother & father in law Jackie & Barbara Flamer. Host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
