Sherlie A. Dessausure

Age 63, of Wilmington, DE passed away suddenly on Monday, March 14, 2005. She was born in Seminole, FL on September 6, 1941. She graduated from Wilmington High School, class 1959. She worked as a social/ case manager at DHSS for 33 years, receiving numerous plaques, pens and many other awards, certificates of recognition for her hard work, patience, perseverance and for caring enough to provide excellent customer service. Sherlie wanted to donate her numerous sick hours to her colleagues in need for emegencies, which they did not have to meet their crisis but her efforts proved to no avail. She finally retired from DHSS year 2001. Sherlie will be sadly missed by her children, Erica and Yvette Dessausure; grandchildren, LaTeika, Ernest, Kaylah Dessausure, great grandsonm Imaje;s'daughter, Adonica F. Johnson; s-son, James "Ray" Rhodes; 6 adopted grandchildren, all from State of Delaware. In addition to family members mentioned above. Sherlie is survived by her father, Willie, and Mama Doll; 6 brothers, Sony, Alfredl Monroe, Michael, Alonzo and Freddie; 3 sisters, Mildred, Diane, Nora; 1 aunt Birdie all from State of Florida and a host of other family and friends.
