Sharon Petria Taylor-Snow was born on February 06, 1971, in Wilmington, DE and transitioned this life on July 4, 2022, in Camden, DE. Sharon was the youngest child of Cislyn Taylor and Herman "Pete" Taylor.

Sharon was a friendly baby who loved to play and laugh. During her formative years, she loved to play hopscotch, jump double dutch, and play with her dolls. During this time, Sharon developed a love of doing hair which would continue after her graduation from high school. Sharon attended Skyline Middle School and graduated from McKean High School in 1989.

Sharon's niece and best friend Lorna was an integral part of her life. Being the same age, they stuck together "like glue." Whether they were taking road trips around the United States or exploring the Reggae scene in Philadelphia, you could always find Sharon and Lorna together. They found solace in the bond that they shared; supporting, loving, congratulating, or just listening to each other.

Sharon attended Wesley College, studying business and fiscal management. Sharon had a long career in finance as a loan processor. She worked at Household/HSBC, Beneficial, Centennial, and Centrix Financial until she was unable to work and granted full disability for her medical condition. Throughout her career, Sharon gained the respect of her coworkers and superiors for her diligence, work ethic and dedication.

Sharon had four children: Ariane Taylor-Evans, Wayne Townsend, Shayne Townsend, and Jahlil Townsend.

She was married to James Snow, her husband for over 20 years. They lived in Colorado and North Carolina, before returning to Delaware.

Sharon loved all genres of music, especially Reggae. She loved to sing and dance and enjoyed playing computer games and watching reality TV shows. Sharon enjoyed taking long car rides and getting lost in new cities. She loved to explore what each new city had to offer while soaking up its ambiance. Sharon also had a love for her beloved cats Midnight and Tabby.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father Herman "Pete" Taylor and her brother Bruce Taylor.

To cherish her memory, Sharon leaves behind her children: Ariane Taylor-Evans (Josh) of Wilmington NC; Wayne Townsend; Shayne Townsend; and Jahlil Townsend.
