Shantelle "Telly" Denise Hunter was born July 24th, 1976 in Wilmington, Delaware to Thomas Skinner/Victor Williams and Angelette Hunter. She went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2019. Telly wore many hats, a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Lover, Friend and most important a very happy person despite anything she's been through. To many of us she's all of the above. She completed early education in Wilmington, Delaware, and was employed as a caregiver and housekeeper throughout her life. Telly enjoyed time with her loved ones, taking care of home like cleaning, especially bleaching down walls & baseboards while drinking her beer, cooking Yok (nobody can cook it like her), eating crabs, fried pork chops & chicken til she chewed to the grilse & bone, singing some of her favorite songs escape "understanding" Druhill "beauty" plies" ran off a plug"( as she thought she could sing) dancing ( the percolator & shaking her donk she think she has ) and cracking jokes. You could always expect a laugh out of her, a cry, a crazy unbelievable story, a diagnostic and much more. As a daughter, Shantelle is her mom's best friend, nobody has a bond like "Meris & Telly" As a Mother, she's irreplaceable and always did the best she could, loving her 7 children, no matter how near or far. As a sibling, she was one of a kind she can be counted on for anything! As a Person she was a nonjudgmental gentle giant, wise but still had so much to learn. She experienced things most wouldn't get thru and she's literally lived 9 lives. Needing but still giving more than what she had. If she could help you in anyway, she did. She's the cleanest person you could come across, always walking around with her sweat rag & nice shape up. She could take a park full of kids, run and have fun with them plus teach them to smile and ask you for a dollar nicely. She would come to your rescue even if you didn't ask her. Any obstacle thrown her way she faced it chin up. We all are so blessed and lucky to have shared a life with Telly, she can have you laughing crying praying or fighting All in one moment. She's now with her grandmothers Barbara Hunter, Thelma Williams, Cousin Bessie Warner and Grandson Prince Foote. Keeping her memories alive are her parents, siblings (Brian Hunter, Kandis Ward, Elwood (Safwan) Hunter, Victor Williams, Daywine Hunter); her children: Shantelle (Mom-mom or lil B* from birth), Dijon (Dirty), Alexis (Nunu or Sexi Lexi), Kandice (lil Kandice), Jawaad (Jarod), Jihad (Butt-Butt), SaQuan (Quanny Too Tiny); 11 grandchildren and a list of other relatives, loved ones and friends .
