Shanina D. Jackson

Shanina D. Jackson was born on January 9, 1979 to Alice Jackson and Elrice Jackson. She went into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Shanina received her early education in Wilmington Public Schools and graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1997. Shanina was employed at Food Lion.

Shanina had many hobbies, but she loved to do hair. She got the love of doing hair from her late Aunt Sheila Jackson.

Shanina was a fun-loving spirit with a heart of gold, and she loved family time and hanging with her friends.

She was a proud mother to her sons Johnny Jackson and Jaquan Demby.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Alice Selby and Nathaniel Williams and her paternal grandparents Relma Jackson and Stanley King.

Shanina leaves to cherish her memories her mother Alice Jackson, father Elrice Jackson, sons Johnny Jackson (Aislinn) and Jaquan Demby, granddaughters Nicole McKinney and Nyla Jackson, sisters Lakishya Williams and Tameka Jackson, four nieces, six nephews, two aunts Bernadette Selby and Sharon Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends.
