Senora Riley

Senora Riley was born September 22, 1930 in Chester, Pennsylvania. She departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Senora received her early education from the Pennsylvania School District.

Senora later moved to Wilmington, Delaware, and joined the Mother Church of God in Christ, where the late Reverend Ross B. Rainey was the Pastor. She loved the Lord, and was a faithful member. She served untiring in the church, and held several positions until her passing.

She was an astute instructor of the Word of God at United Christian College at New Pentecostal Church, where the late Louvenia Dickerson was the Pastor and Founder

Upon marring the late Deacon James Riley, she transitioned her ministry to Mt. Calvary Temple C.O.G.I.C. At this time she served under the late Bishop L.T. Blackshear, Presiding Prelate Delaware Jurisdiction C.O.G.I.C.

Upon his leadership she labored under God's watchful eye, and served as the Youth Department Public Relations President, Licensed Practical Nurse and the Young Women's Christian Council. She answered God's call and later became a Missionary, and District Missionary.

Senora was installed as the Delaware Jurisdiction Department of Women State Supervisor from 1991-1993. She loved to sing, and had several favorite songs, to name a few "Jesus is my Portion", and His Eye is on the Sparrow.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Riley. She is survived by her sons Vincent and Ezra. Her grandchildren, Nicole, Jordan, Vincent Jr., Lonja, Vinee, Vincent III, Jade, Senora, Amad, and great-grandchildren. Her Goddaughters, Linda Senora Jones, Joanne Buford, and daughter in spirit Denyse Corbett; the Riley family and numerous family members in Christ.
