Sara Naomi Brickus-Jones

Sara Naomi Brickus Jones known to all as "Naomi", 92 of Wilmington Del. died on Friday, April 28. 2007 at Emily Biscell Nursing Home, Del. She was the daughter of the late Elais Brickus and the late Martha Carey. She lived in Coatesville Pa until her marriage to the late Garfield Ralph Jones on November 4, 1937 then relocated to Milford DE., and later moving toWihnington DE in 1944. She was baptized at the age of 15 and joined Passtown Baptist Church in Coatesville. Upon her move to Wilmington sbe became a member of Harrison Memorial Chmch in April of 1962 where she served at one time as the secretary of Sunday school, treasurer and a faithful member on the usher board. She loved to sew, making a lot of her own clothing in her younger years and did occasional domestic work. She leaves behind a host of relatives and friends, a Godson Edward Johnson, and a very special mend Mr. Vick. She was predeceased by her sister Bertha I. Carey Walker Jackson.
