Sandra Johnson

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Sandra Johnson on January 28, 2025, at her home. Born on January 13, 1960, in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Mattie and Howard Wright, Sandra was raised in a Baptist home before becoming a baptized Jehovah’s Witness, embracing her faith with kindness and devotion.

Sandra had a lifelong love for music, earning the title of the family's personal DJ. Known for her infectious laugh and generous spirit, she always welcomed loved ones into her home with open arms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Parrish Johnson, her longtime partner Monroe Morris, and several siblings. She is survived by her children Walter Johnson (Sherry), Ira Johnson (Shai), and Precious Morris-Browning (Willie), along with her cherished grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. Sandra will be deeply missed, but her love, music, and warmth will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
