Ruth J. McKnight, age 64, departed this life May 8, 2010. Survived by devoted husband of 47 years, Walter W. McKnight, Sr; mother, Adele Bishop; 4 children, Cheryl Gregory (Richard) , Walter W. McKnight, Jr., Alexander McKnight and Charles McKnight; 6 grandchildren, Artise Benjamin, Artie Duhart III, Lashelle Duhart, Cherise Simon, Allisha McKnight and Alexander McKnight, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Duncan (Garfield), Linda Armstrong (Nathan) and Paula Joyner; best friend, Sula Parker and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by father, Paul Bishop and nephew, Nathan Armstrong, Jr. Ruth enjoyed cooking, watching TV, crocheting, dancing and spending time with family.
