Age 81, passed away on March 24, 2014. Rupert Morris otherwise called "Mr. Pertie" was born in Harmony Vale in the Garden Parish of St. Ann Jamaica, West Indies on July 21, 1932. He was a very quiet boy who had 2 siblings that preceded him in death. Rupert completed his education in St. Ann, Jamaica. He chose plumbing as a career and he liked to play dominoes as a past time. He grew up and found and met May Gayle whom he fell in love with and married. He came to the U.S. in 1983 and was employed at the Wilmington Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1998. He was a loving and quiet individual. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Mary, daughter Doretta Morris, sons Dalton Morris and Vernon Harvey, 5 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
