Rosalie "Butchie" Crisden

Rosalie Crisden was born on September 2, 1943 in Wilmington, DE to Joseph and Margaret Crisden. Having completed her assignment here on earth Rosalie quietly transitioned on February 25, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Rosalie received her early education in the Wilmington Public School System. She graduated from Wilmington High School class of 1961.

After graduating Rosalie was employed with the division of social services for 12 years, she later worked at Leader Nursing Home for 10 years she then spent the last 7 years of her work life as a residential counselor with Salvation Army.

Rosalie was a faithful member of First Tabernacle Church of God and Saints of Christ. Rosalie's three favorite past times were reading mystery horror books, cooking large meals for her family and spoiling her grand and great-grandchildren.

Rosalie was a loving and giving soul and would often give her last to help others. She was preceded in death by Joseph E. Crisden (Father), Margaret Crisden (Mother), Bernard Crisden (brother), Joseph L. Crisden (brother), Donald Crisden (brother), and Earlene Williams (sister).

Rosalie is survived by Carmella Capel (daughter), Phillip Frantone (son), Andre Frantone (son), Christopher (Vivian) Frantone (son), Joseph Frantone (son), Forrest (Tyisha) Frantone (son), Benjamin Crisden (brother), Brenda Brown (sister), 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a god son.
