Ronetta Watson

Ronnetta D. Watson was born February 19, 1961, to the late Ronald V. Watson and Rita D. Watson.

She received her early education in The Wilmington, Delaware School System where she later

graduated from Howard Career Center majoring in Mass Media. After graduating she attended Job Corp

where she studied to be a Nurse Assistant.

She worked various jobs, Kutz Senior Living as a caregiver, J. P. Morgan Bank custodian, Tonya’s Tiny

Tots Daycare, Children Are the Future Daycare and recently before Covid First State Senior Companion.

Ronnetta gave birth to her daughter Andreia Watson in 1976 and years later her son Dae' Vonte P.

Watson in 1988. She recently became the legal guardian to her goddaughter Nevaeh Murphy in 2014.

Later in life Ronnetta moved to Dover, DE where she enjoyed staying home watching her many DVDs

with scary movies being her favorite. She was an avid music listener, one of her favorite songs “BETTER

DAYS” by Le’Andria Johnson. During her spare time, she loved to shop with her girlfriends and eat out at

her favorite restaurants. Ronnetta loved spending time with family and babysitting for friends. She

accepted the Lord and attended various churches while living in Dover.

Ronnetta was predeceased in death by her father Ronald V. Watson, mother Rita D. Watson, and

granddaughter Dae' Marie Watson. She is survived by daughter Andreia Watson, son Dae' Vonte P.

Watson, goddaughter Nevaeh Murphy, sisters Tonya Hawkins and Trina Watson, brothers Victor Watson

and Jesse Griffin 11 grandchildren Tonja, Leonard, Dreyon, Drelyn, Anaiah, Ayden, Caelan, Dae' Vonte Jr,

Legend, Legacy, Dae’ Miere and 6 great-grandchildren, devoted friends Vivian Williams and Thomas

Legrande, a host of extended family and friends who loved her.
