Ronald “Ronnie” Also known as “Ron” Hannah was born on February 9, 1956, in Passaic New Jersey. The eldest child of the late Lillian Carter-Hannah.

Ronnie attended the Passaic school system. After graduating from high school Ronnie went on to receive a degree in Culinary Arts.

Throughout Ron’s life, he held various jobs such as Captain Crabs, KFC, Berdines, The New York City Rescue Mission, and The House of Wright Funeral Home just to name a few.

Ronnie started his Christian journey at The Saint Paul Baptist Church in Passaic New Jersey under the leadership of the late Reverend Lucius Walker. Ronnie served on various ministries such as the Choir, Usher Board, Nurses Unit, and the Kitchen Committee. 

Ron later moved to Wilmington Delaware where he joined Bethel AME Church. He was very active in Bethel serving on the Mass Choir, Sons of Allen Men’s Choir, Ushers #2, Missions in Motion, and its Lay.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother Lillian Carter-Hannah, one brother Arthur Hannah, one sister Michele Hannah, and one niece Tara Hannah-Bell

Ronnie leaves to cherish his legacy his nephews Benjamin Bell-Hannah, Shyron Wade, and Professor Norris. His nieces Tabitha Hannah-Bell, Kendra Hannah, and LaChelle Hannah-Robinson. His great-nephews Calvin, Tazhan, Nasai, Jace, Thadius Jr., and Liam. On great niece Lyla Michele. One special nephew and caretaker Derek Herring. His bonus siblings Wilbur Mathis Jr., Aziz Carter, James Carter (Yolanda), Bryan Carter, Laurie Carter-Robinson (Gary), Jason Carter, Romona Jiles, Kathy Jiles, Alice Monts, Louise Seward, Scott Monts, Olivia Webster, and Patrica Jackson. Devoted friends Rev. Keith Johnson, Shavalya Matthews, Nancy Boyer, and Dolores Tatman. His Bethel AME Church Family along with a host of other relatives and friends.
