Roger W. Stanford, III was born on September 8, 1985 to Ralene Commodore and Roger Stanford, Jr.

Roger passed away suddenly along with his mother Ralene Commodore-Smith on April 10, 2024 in Bear, Delaware.

Roger attended Christiana High School. Roger worked various jobs from a flagger for road work or as a forklift operator.

Roger enjoyed spending time with his two sons. He often would have father and son outings and coached his son's basketball teams.

Roger is preceded in death by his step-father, Henry Smith Sr., grandparents, Shirley Commodore, Raymond Gardley and Roger Stanford Sr.

Roger is survived by his sons, Roger Stanford IV and Roemello Stanford; father, Roger Stanford, Jr.; brother, Henry Smith Jr., longtime girl, Maria Lopez; grandmother, Martha Stanford; aunts and uncles Victoria, Franklin (Valerie), Kevin (Edna), Gary, Daryl, Rachel Victoria, Stanley and Jermaine; a host of cousins and many friends.
