Robin Rochelle Washington Ohuanbor was born on April 19, 1967 to the late Robert and Gloria Washington in Lakewood, NJ. She was educated in the public school system and graduated from Lakewood High School. As a child, Robin was high spirited and strong willed, characteristics that prevailed throughout her lifetime. Her sense of humor was one of her greatest assets, and embellishing convincing stories were unmatched. Robin enjoyed shopping and she was a generous gift giver.
Robin accepted Christ at Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Alvin Clayton in Lakewood, NJ. She was an active member of the church serving in the choir and on the usher board. After taking up residency in the state of Delaware, Robin continued her Christian journey at Temple of Praise, Inc. where Bishop Jeremiah Eldridge was the pastor.
Robin earned certificates in the nursing field. She attended Star Technical Institute in Lakewood, NJ. Obtaining certification as a certified nursing assistant and later earned her EKG credentials. Her jovial spirit and way with patients proved beneficial to those that were under her care.
On April 10, 2014 Robin was joined in holy matrimony to Osabohien Ohuanbor in Gambia, West Africa.
Later in life, she was stricken with health issues which resulted in her inability to continue to work. After an arduous struggle with various medical problems, our merciful Father took her home.
