He loved his grandson Josiah dearly, he called him " bo and ornery butt". He loved watching the Eagles play football it was his favorite team, he was a die heart Eagle Fan. Randy loved having family gatherings, he loved being a chef on the barbecue grill, playing basketball, football and watching movies. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Brenda Hansley; 5 children, Randy barksdale(Sandy), wayne Barksdale, Angelic thornton-Allen(Jason), Rasheeda Moody and his baby Rahsheen Hansley-Miller; 2 stepchildren, Brian and Laverne Miller; 5 sisters Edan Cornish of Cheswold, DE, Catherine Bulock of Camden, NJ, Diana Hansley, Juliana Hansley both of Wilmington, DE; 2 brothers, Thomas Cornish of Felton, DE and Alfred Cornish of Las Vegas, NV; 2 half brothers, Leonard and Stanford Hansley both of Dover, DE; 2 sisters-in-law, Stephanie Cornish of Felton, DE and Glenda Miller of Wilmington, DE; Father-in-law, Samuel Miller, Sr.; One brother-in-law, Samuel Miller, Jr. both of Slaughter Neck, DE. 14 grandchildren; 29 nephews; 13 nieces; 1 devoted sister, Juliana Hansley; 3 devoted friends, Andrew Gordon, Mitchell Armstrong and John Hoskins, Jr.; and a host of other family members and friends.
