Quadre N. Christopher

June 22, 1993 — February 16, 2012

fondly known as "Dre" was born on June 22, 1993 in Wilmington, Delaware to Taiwana Christopher and Virgil Broadnax, Sr. He was a member of Joshua Harvest under the leadership of Pastor Derrick Johnson where he was Christened and Baptized. He received his education in the public schools of Delaware attending Carrcroft Elementary School, Gunning Bedford and McCullough Middle School, and William Penn High School. He enrolled in Jobs Corps in October 2011 and attended the Harpers Ferry site in West Virginia until he went home to be with the Lord. Quadre's desire was to become an architect which is what made him enroll in Job Corps to learn Carpentry and Construction. His dream was to pursue a job in the Carpentry and the Construction industry. "Dre", the ever-loving, kindhearted, gentle "giant" was a very outgoing, charismatic, effervescent, always smiling and willing to lend a helping hand. He never held back his love. "Dre" will always be remembered for his` big ole bear hugs` he always gave when greeting his family or closest friends. Dre loved his family. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a loving and devoted mother, Taiwan; devoted "dad" Shawn Bryant; his father, Virgil; his three brothers, Shawn, Jr. and Shamir Bryant and Virgil, Jr.; his two sisters, Virkeesha and Lataia Williams; his maternal grandmother, June Christopher and his paternal grandmother, Jessie Watson; his maternal grandfather, David Fletcher and paternal grandfather, Carl Watson; his maternal great-grandmother, Lillie Cherry; his loving aunts, Salisa Christopher and Whitney Watson; along with other aunts and uncles, Marquivus and Maurice Hardy, Darrell and Dwayne Woodhouse, Timonte Christopher, Andre Benton, and Carl Watson, Jr.; his loving God-mothers, Yolanda Brown and Shonda Foster; his devoted and loving fiancee, Ja'Lisa Davis of whom he shared five years of his life; a host of other loving cousins and friends.
