Phyllis Ann Marion

Phyllis age 41, of Georgetown, DE, departed this life on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at her residence. She was born April 13, 1964 in Halifax, VA to Peggy Lee Brooks Thompson and the late Charles Lewis Brooks, Jr. Phyllis received her education in the Wilmington, DE and Chester, PAS public schools and Chester High School. Phyllis was a member of the Church of God in Chester, PA. Phyllis loved children and had a big heart when it came to her nieces and nephews. Phyllis loved to sit and listen to the oldies with her isters, Shirley and Linda, back in the day. Phyllis is survived by her mother, Peggy Williams Thompson; brother James Thornton, sisters Shirley Brooks and Linda Brooks; adopted brother William Pearson, godsister Jasmyn Blackledge, sister-in-law Gerry Thornton, grandmother Mary Barksdale, and a host of aunts, 3 uncles, nieces, and nephews, other family and friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Marion, her father Charles Lewis Brooks, Sr, brothers Darris Wayne Brooks, Charles Lewis Brooks, Jr., grandfather Melvin Childress and grandmother Annie Brooks.
