Pamela D. Newby

Pamela D. Newby was born on December 13, 1950, In Wilmington, Delaware to Evelyn D. and Raleigh E. Moore. Pamela passed on July 23, 2024 In Wilmington, Delaware.

Pamela received her early education in Wilmington, Delaware Public School System. Pamela was a homemaker until her children were school age. Pamela worked several jobs throughout her life. Pamela retired from the City of Wilmington, Delaware as a Crossing Guard in 2020.

Pamela was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother who loved her family dearly. Pamela's grands were her world and vise versa although she didn't play she had a soft spot for her babies. Pamela loved holidays, she would cook for her family with a setup as if she had 20 people coming to visit. Pamela enjoyed participating and watching her Grandchildren grow up into adulthood. Pamela was very wise and would speak her mind and if you didn't want the truth she was not the one to ask. As Pamela aged she was a sassy and vibrant person she kept us on our toes. 

Pamela was preceded in death by her loving husband Gary L. Newby Sr., parents Evelyn and Raleigh Moore, siblings Judith Ann Lawrence, Jackie Jones, Sr. Beverly Mosley, Eric Moore, Sr., Kevin Moore, Raleigh Moore, Carla Moore, Christopher Moore, Sr.

Pamela leaves to cherish her memories, Son Gary Newby, Jr. (Alethieia): Betty Newby, five grandchildren, Lenday Mathis, Ky'Ree Harris ( Paradise), Jaheim Harris, Gabrielle Newby, Gary Newby, III, great granddaughter's Malaysia and Maddison Cruz; bonus Son Reginald Harris. Siblings, Ronald Jones, Sr., Bernadette Moore, Veronica Moore, Carliss Moore, Cassandra Moore. devoted sister In-law Pamela Moore; devoted Cousin Carlis Rockmore and many bonus grandchildren.
