Journey of Michelle Antonette Newkirk Michelle Antonette Newkirk was born on March 27, 1992, in Newark, NJ to Michael Newkirk, Sr. and Ernestine Goggins. She was called home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2018 in Newark, NJ Michelle received her early education in East Orange Public Schools. while very young, Ernestine(mother), relocated to Delaware where she was educated in Christiana and Appoquinimink School District. Michelle love to "get money", as she said and spend time with her nieces, nephews, family and friends. depending on how you met her and how she made you feel, she adopted many nicknames: Missy, TeeTee, Chelles and Stay Scheming just to name a few. Michelle attended Ezion Fair Baptist Church with her mom when she was in Delaware. She loved to listen to music, cook, clean, cater to her mother and always wanted to be the center of attention. Because of her genuine heart and loyalty, she always had a smile on her face. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Michael A. Newkirk, Sr., paternal grandmother Vanera Newkirk, maternal grandfather Ronald Cofield and the love of her life, Berry Merrill, III. Missy is survived by her mother Ernestine Goggins; step father David Hicks; three sisters, Sherell (Brian) Smothers of Franklin, NC; Kywanda Goggins, Newark, DE; JeNi Hick of Dover, DE; three brothers Charles Alexander, Somerset, NJ, Tyquan Goggins, Middletown, DE and her twin brother, Michael Antonio Newkirk, JR. of Raleigh, NC; 4 nephews, 7 nieces, a host of other relatives and friends.
