Marlene D. Graves

Marlene D. Graves, daughter of the late Loile Graves Jr. and Cozella Graves was born February 26, 1956, in Chester County Pennsylvania. She went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Wilmington Hospital. She received her early childhood education in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and graduated from P.S Dupont. She then worked as a clerk for Christiana Hospital. Marlene or "Feets" as she was affectionally called by her family a name given to her by her late grandmother Frances Johnson had many hobbies and interests. She could draw and sing and enjoyed thousand-piece puzzles, cooking large meals for her friends and family as well as shopping. She was a great support system for family and friends, and everyone was welcome in her home.

Marlene was preceded in death by her father Loile Graves Jr. and her daughter Tiffany A. Washington. Marlene "Feets" Graves leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Martel Washington, her mother Cozella Graves, siblings David Hicks, Marcia Broadway and her husband Walter Broadway, Loile Graves III, her granddaughter Brianna Washington, cousins Frances Blackshear, Bonita Brown and Karen Russell, her god child Emoni Brown, devoted friend Maureen Hammond and a host of other relatives and friends.
