Journey of a Fruitful Life

Marcus Lee Reddick was born on February 17th, 1987 to Linda Reddick and Ernest Johnson. Marcus departed his life on earth, July 12th, 2021 at the Salem Medical Center located in Salem NJ. Marcus, known to many as "Fresh" received his childhood education in the Salem School district, later on receiving his GED. Marcus was employed at various jobs, including the Camden County scrap yard where he invested two years to the company.

Marcus was a faithful member of the Masjid and also enjoyed having fun. Marcus played football in his youth; he enjoyed fishing, going to different restaurants, and most of all spending time with his two loving children, Taqwa and Maliq as well as his family and friends.

Everyone who knew Marcus knew how much family meant to him. If he didn't greet you with a "mean mug, following a laugh, then you weren't family. Marcus had a heart of gold and made sure he always looked immaculate and smelled "Fresh". With his favorite saying, "How you coming", you knew he had a mouthful for you.

He is predeceased by his grandmother Francis Numan and grandfather Daniel Reddick, along with a special friend, Lisa Coleman.

Marcus is survived by his sister, Katona Reddick, foster father Mr. Ruffin, grandmother Eleanor Lee, brother-in-law Gerard Busch, son Maliq Samad Reddick, daughter Taqwa Amina Reddick, nephew Gerard Busch Jr, four stepchildren; Richard Grey, Dillon Sawyer, Bria Sawyer, and Aaliyah Minor. Also, step-father Lamont Lusby two step-sisters Ny-Ny Lusby and Lay-Lay Lusby, 1 stepbrother Maurice Lusby, a very special loving friend Tiara Fauntleroy and two very special loving aunts Brenda Numan and Sally Numan, along with a host of relatives and friends.
