Marcus L Bost Sr. was born on January 29, 1963, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was born to his loving parents, Otto W. Bost Sr. and Reverend Viola Dickerson-Bost. Marcus attended and graduated from Howard High School of Technology in 1981. After graduating he honed in on his craft as a barber, becoming one of the best-licensed barbers in Delaware ahead of his time. He was able to charge 20 plus dollars for a haircut in the late 80's. Marcus always had a knack for business. In his early 20's, he owned his own cleaning company and learned brick mason and construction skills from his father, Otto that he would continue to use throughout his adult life. He loved being a self-employed, serial entrepreneur businessman, and his own boss. He never liked anyone telling him what to do. He was indeed the "Bossman."
Bossman was charming, loving, smart, and extremely generous. He always was the first to help anyone in need, it didn't matter what the situation was. Marcus had a heart of gold. He loved to dance and be the center of attention. If there was a celebration, you would find him in the middle of the dance floor while onlookers chanted his name. He was a true-blue loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. Marcus loved the finer things in life and would dress to the nines. His sense of humor was second to none. Marcus did not mince words, he always told it how he saw it and didn't care who liked it. He also liked to talk about himself a lot, but there was nothing he loved more than his children. Over the last year, he looked forward to Saturdays as that was his day to spend with his youngest granddaughter; Zori whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his father Otto W. Bost Sr., mother Reverend Viola Dickerson-Bost, and brother Clutch.
Marcus leaves to cherish in his loving memory his two eldest daughters; Neysa Lee Money, and Nasara Bost-Money. From the union with his former wife; Novene Tate, his youngest daughter, and son; Pashyra Bost, and Marcus L Bost Jr. Grandchildren; Amira Baul and Zori Money. Bossman will be missed by his brother Henry Dickerson, 5 other siblings, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Marcus lived a short but full life of love, hard work, and plenty of laughs, he faced trials and tribulations but remained resilient and always found a way to come out on top. He will be remembered by many people whose lives were touched by his infectious spirit, kindness, and generosity. Previous Events
