Maggie Lee Rodgers

Maggie Lee Rodgers, age 85 of Phoenix, Arizona formally from York, Alabama died peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Peppertree Assisted Living in Phoenix, Arizona. Maggie was the daughter of the late John "Bud" Miller and the late Isabelle "Watson" Miller. Maggie was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in York, AL before moving to Phoenix, AZ. Maggie was a homemaker. She enjoyed family gatherings, singing on the choir and traveling. Maggie married the late Moses E. Rodgers, Sr. They were blessed with three sons; the late Joe Edward Rogers of Phoenix, AZ; the late Moses Emmitt Rodgers, Jr. of New Orleans, LA and Roy Lee Rodgers, Sr. of Bear, DE. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mr. S.L. Bud Miller of York, AL. Those left NOT to mourn but to cherish previous memories of her are; her devoted son, Roy L. Rodgers, Sr.; her sister, Mrs. Sebelle Rodgers of Ward, AL; sister-in-law, Vivian Miller of York, AL, brother-in-law, Marion Rodgers of Wilmington, DE; three daughters-in-law, Othella Rodgers of Phoenix, AZ, Ethel Rodgers of New Orleans, LA, Sandra Rodgers of Bear, DE; eight grandchildren, Tyrone, Karen, Sabina Rodgers of New Orleans, LA, Julie, Donald and Jewell Rodgers of Phoenix, AZ and Roy Lee, Jr. and Cheryl Rodgers of Bear, DE.
