Macory Eaddy Was the first of six children born to the late Hampton and Fannie D. Eaddy in Florence, South Carolina on October 9, 1923. Macory went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2007. At an early age he confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at the Aimwell Baptist Church in South Carolina. Macory was educated in the local school system of Pamplico, South Carolina. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Macory was employed with Pendell Metal Company. Macory loved children and was extremely philanthropic on their behalf over the years. Although he was a private person, Macory was extremely family oriented. He enjoyed sharing special moments with his family. He was predeceased in death by his father, Hampton Eaddy; mother, Fannie Eaddy; brother, Isaac Eaddy. He leaves to cherish his memories; one son, Kevin Quarles; grandson, Kevin Macory Quarles; his companion for many years, Lydia Quarles; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Smith; one stepdaughter, Jameka Quarles; granddaughter, Darnajah Quarles; two sisters, Mary E. McCown of Norfolk, Virginia; Odessa E. Taylor of Thomasville, North Carolina; two brothers, Reverend Moses and Dwight Eaddy; three close friends, Ronald, Celina and Aretha Brown; close friends of his dad and son, David Hill and Oreese Young and a host of other family and friends. On the evening of January 11th in the privacy of his home the LORD dispatched an angel to carry him home. Sleep on, Macory and take your rest. We loved YOU, but GOD loved you the best.
