Lucinda Kenner

Lucinda Kenner was born on 1/30/1937, in the city of Philadelphia,Pa to Fannie Belle Jackson and Louis Carter. Lucinda passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving children and granddaughter on Friday February 9,2024 at 6:19 pm.

Lucinda received her early childhood education in the Philadelphia public school system. Lucinda graduated High School and went into business school. After school Lucinda worked at Temple university hospital where she retired after 20 years.

Some of Lucinda's favorite hobbies were putting together puzzles,reading and spending time with her family.

Lucinda was preceded in death by her 5 brothers Willy,Jake, Harold,Albert,Dock and 3 sisters Fr Louise , Beulah and Francis.

Lucinda is survived by her 3 children Vernetta ( Yasminah), Brenecia and Leonard. 5 grandchildren Zarifa (Harold)  Kenyatta, James, Yatisa and Leonard, 20 great grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews, a special nephew (Derrick).
