Lois Danielle Sheppard, daughter of Daniel (Dano) Sheppard and Maggie E. Sheppard was born on March 30, 1962 in Camden, NJ. She departed this life suddenly on Thursday October 28, 2021 at her loving son's home surrounded by her family.
Lois graduated from Salem High School class of 1980. She was blessed with five amazing children Jamar, Franklin, Lakisha (Keyonna), Tyron, and Dawan Sheppard; whom she loved very much. There was literally nothing she would not do to make sure her children and grandchildren were always good.
Lois was known for her loud boisterous laugh and infectious smile. To know her was to love her. She was loved by all who were blessed by her presence. Now don't be fooled if she didn't care for you for whatever reason she had NO PROBLEM making that known as well. That was also no question!!!
Lois attended Word Church under the leadership of Bishop Freddy Washington for many years and later joined Rock Life Church where the honorable Pastor Damon Dukes led her. She served at Rock Life Church as often as she could as an usher and also was a part of the Grace Girl Ministry.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved ones, and close friends. You could always find her eating a good ole steak, seafood and listening to her music. Lois had an overwhelming passion for offering top of the line care for her residents and or patients. This led her to her 30 plus year career at various healthcare facilities in the Salem area. She loved and cared for her patients as if they were her very own family. She served diligently and faithfully until her health declined: even right up until the day before she was hospitalized.
Lois was predeceased by one sister Sharon Sheppard and one brother Dwight Sheppard and step mother Connie Sheppard. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving father Daniel (Dano) Sheppard and her mother Maggie Sheppard. Her five children, Jamar (Shauna) Sheppard of Pennsgrove, NJ, Franklin, Lakisha, and Dawan Sheppard of Salem, NJ and Tyron (Domenique) Sheppard of Pennsville, NJ; 12 grandchildren and 6 siblings. She will be deeply missed by her best friends Octavia Robinson, Gina Sulk, and Caroline Williams. Also to mourn her loss will be the father of her chillren Franklin "FRANKIE" Hill and his mother Vermon Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, god children and friends. Previous Events
