Lawrance A. Bright

Lawrance Alexander Bright was born on 4/1/1966 in New Castle, Delaware to Robert L. Bright Sr and Barbara A. Bright.

He passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at his residence in Perryville, Maryland.

Lawrance lovingly known as Flint, received his early childhood education from the Colonial School District in New Castle, DE. He graduated from Delcastle High School.

He then entered the United States Army serving in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm as SPEC-4 Officer. After finishing the service to his country, he worked as a Telecommunications specialist until he retired.

Lawrance was a faithful member of The American Legion Lodge; He was a Prince Hall Mason. He had many hobbies and interests. Hobbies: fishing, music (all kinds). Favorite past times included: working on cars, reading, bike riding. He found comfort in visiting other veterans and sharing service stories. He loved talking on the phone for hours at a time.

Lawrance was preceded in death by (father) Robert L. Bright Sr.,(grandmothers) Louise Jenkins, Katherine Crews (grandfather) Lawrence A. Crews Sr. Lawrance is survived by his mother Barbara A. Bright, brothers Brian K. Bright (Linda), Ronald A. Bright, Robert L. Bright Jr, sister Veronica L. Bright and a host of relatives and friends.

Lawrance was a kind giving man; he would stop at the drop of a dime to help a stranger in need. When it came to family he would always tell you that he loved you. He was never afraid to speak his mind. Previous Events
