Latanya M. Miller

Latanya "Tanya" went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2022.
Latanya was born on September 1, 1971, to Shirley Samuel and Preston Jones in Chester, PA. She received her early education from New Castle County public schools and later attended James H. Groves to receive her GED. Tanya was a bank auditor up until she became ill. Latanya was a very business savvy woman, which she brought along being a business owner with her husband. Latanya was part owner of Just Taxes by Myron, along with Just Gifts by Latanya, and Just Errands by Myron.
Latanya was married to Myron Miller for 28 years and they enjoyed traveling, church retreats and eating out, especially their seafood. She loved her special interests in online gaming, photo-taking, videos, and being her husband's right hand. She would often have to play backup singer for his music rehearsals.
She LOVED spending time with her daughters Charondah and Teymaur. Getting their nails done was a MAJOR must. Tanya loved her grandkids and spoiled them with any and everything they wanted. Watching "Moana" over and over and over again, repeatedly with her Nyla and buying her Boomp Boomp (Michael) his V-bucks. Other than her husband, her other companion was Tiger, her pet dog, who she loved and adored. Latanya was a very family-oriented person. From this union with her husband, she gained 4 step-children and 7 more grandkids. Latanya belonged to the Praise Center Church under Pastor Middleton.
She was preceded in death by her son Mark Brown, Jr.; her parents Shirley Samuel and Preston Jones; her grandfather Wilbert Dunn; her father-in-law Walter Miller; and 2 brothers-in-law.
She is survived by her husband Myron Miller; 2 daughters Charondah Cephas and Teymaur Miller; 2 grandkids, Michael Bishop and Nyla Miller; 4 step-kids and 7 step-grandkids; nephew Markeas Jones who she helped raise; 1 sister Christine Jones; 2 brothers Tkai Samuel and Jermaine Jones, Sr.; her grandmother Christine Samuel; mother-in-law Helen Miller; 1 sister-in-law Jennifer Crippen; 1 best friend/sister Keisha Cole; lots of nieces and nephews; along with 2 great-nieces and a ton of cousins and friends.
