Larry Wiggins, Sr. was born on May 11, 1977 in Wilmington, Delaware. He was the son of Debra A. Wiggins and the late Larry Davis. He departed this life on March 17, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Larry was married to Ruth Gaudalupe-Wiggins and from this union two children were born, Selena and Larry Jr.
Larry received his early education in Wilmington, Delaware. He attended Warner Elementary and Springer Middle Schools. He graduated from William Penn High School in New Castle, Delaware. He worked at various restaurants as a cook. His most recent place of employment was at Burger King where he worked for six years.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Ware Shoal, South Carolina.
Larry had several hobbies he enjoyed: playing video games, fishing, and bike riding. When he wasn’t working, he would find time to play basketball and football with his children. He also enjoyed having family BBQ’s. He was known for being silly and making those laugh that were around him.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry Davis, grandmother Mary Florence, great-grandmother Lannie Black, uncle Robert Davis, great-aunts Evelyn Harris, Anne Morris and Mary Davis, cousins Tobby Wiggins, Daymond Wiggins, and Wallace Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife Ruth Wiggins, three daughters Jah-Nae, Ashley, and Selena, son Larry Jr., step-son Miguel, stepdaughter Samantha, mother Debra Wiggins, brother Terrance Wiggins, sister Kim Wiggins, three aunts Tina Bembry, Gail Wiggins, and Linda Worley, great-uncle Almon Adams, three grandchildren Elaina, Xavier, and Genesis, and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
