Joyce Ann Hagler

Joyce Ann Hagler was born Joyce Ann Younger on the 26th of May 1955 in Wilmington, Delaware, to Adolphus and Helen Younger. Fighting for months after having a stroke Joyce Ann Hagler was called home on the 14th day of June at Christina Care in Wilmington, Delaware with her son by her side.

Joyce Hagler received her early childhood education from Wilmington Public School System, she later graduated from Wilmington High School in 1973. After she graduated, she worked at a variety of jobs from fast food to switch bord operator until she became a medical secretary. After working years at the Delaware Department of Health and Service, she retired in 2004.

Joyce (JAY) Hagler was a faithful member of Ezion Fair Baptist Church. She was one of the first youth teachers at the church. Joyce had many interests and hobbies, one of her biggest hobbies was being an event planner. She loved the hobby so much she created a business out of it. She enjoyed speaking with the youth in the church. She later became one of the first children church teachers at Ezion Fair Baptist church.

Joyce is survived by Son Millard M. Younger, Daughter-in-law Takeida L. Younger, Grandchildren, Bryanna L. Younger, Martise Romello Younger, and Terrell Martise Younger. Great Grandchildren Angeline Younger and Marlo Hutchins. Siblings Rita Hall, Marietta Dawkins, Lynne Lewis, and Tonya Younger. God daughter Jahnae Wallace, Best Friends Jeannette King, Charlemaine Young, and Myrna Edwards, 3 Nephews Tyrone Younger and Myles Younger, Charles Dawkins, Neice Shawn Younger and a host of other family and friends.
