Joseph McKinley Moyer, Sr. Joseph McKinley Moyer, Jr., son of the late Joseph and Helen Moyer was born in Axton, Virginia on May 22, 1937. Joe attended public school in Axton. In later years, Joe moved to Wilmington, Delaware. Joe was employed by Bruce Industries for many years until his health failed. Joe loved to cook, listen to Gospel Music and go to flea markets on weekends. He will sadly be missed, by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his daughter Phyllis Dillard and sister, Lula Hairston. He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, James R. Moyer; one brother-in-law, James Hairston; one nephew, Patrick Hairston, all of Axton, Virginia; a devoted friend, Helen H. Price of New Castle, Delaware and many close cousins and friends.
