John L. (Joe) Baise, age 76, entered eternal rest on May 26, 2016. Husband of Loretta Hawkes Baise; father of Lisa (Richard) Saunders, Daron Hawkes; Theresa and LaShell Baise; Teresa and Darell Dollard;
Henrietta Dorsey; Delores Poteat and Antione (Victoria) Dorsey; brother of Shirley Jones, Delores Reed,Wanda Boardley, Charlotte, Samuel and Michael Baise and a host of grand and great-grandchildren.
He was a great family man. Joe, as he was affectionately called, worked for over 40 years with the Port System of Wilmington and the State of Delaware. Horse Racing and fishing was his greatest past time.
As a child in West Virginia, Joe loved horses, riding and caring for them. In addition to the family mentioned above, he leaves a host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, cousins, family and friends, but one devoted friend - Kerry Johnson.
Joe Baise had a life well lived.
