John Wesley Dennis also affectionately known as "Honey Drip" or "Drip" was born October 23, 1945 in Princess Anne Maryland. He departed this life peacefully on April 8, 2016 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.
John served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967, during the Vietnam War. He was a man of honor, integrity, dignity and respect. He served his country well. John was employed at Winterthur Museum for 27 years until his death. He was a dedicated employee and he loved his job very much.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Jacqueline Dennis, Beverly Brooks and Lynell Broom; his sons: Otis Dennis and Eric Dennis; two sisters; one aunt; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
