John E. Loper

John Edward Loper was born on October 20, 1946, in Milford Delaware, to Calvin and Susie Loper. He passed away on October 4, 2021, at Resorts at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, MD. He graduated from William C. Jason High School. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. He worked at Sea Watch International for 38 years and was the longest active employee upon his retirement on February 25, 2015. Affectionately called Jack, he was generous and gave to church, family, and friends. People would often ask him for a ride to the store and he would oblige.

John was preceded in death by father, Calvin Loper Sr., and mother, Susie Loper.

John is survived by his sisters, Alice Harrison Atlanta, Georgia; Margie (Melvin) Burton Lincoln, Delaware; Dolly McCrea Milford, Delaware; and his brother Calvin Loper Jr. Lincoln, Delaware and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Previous Events
